Frequently Asked Questions

The Salty Dogs are an amateur Ice Hockey Club comprised of has-beens and never-weres; a collective dedicated to the art of locker room chemistry and basically nothing else. 

We don't do invites as a rule. 

If you'd like to play with the Salty Dogs, just get added to our SUPER DUPER EXCLUSIVE team chat. Just ask Pat Bennett in person or use this very site to get the invite. 

I'll announce upcoming tournaments in the team chat. Once it's announced, just go to the link at the top of the page and add your information. That's it. No snubs or anything, just whomever gets there first. 

Think of us as that kind of familiarly skunky-smelling hippy couple your parents used to hang out with. The ones who always had a "friend" staying over that you were told not to ask too many questions about. 

What we mean is, we're all about the love, my dude. 

If you're with another club, that's fine with us. Just dip in every once and a while to play a tournament or whatever, then go back to your other peeps.  Exclusivity isn't really our bag, baby. Again, just be cool and it's all alright.

Our whole schtick is having a fun locker room. If you flip your lid at people on the regular, injure other players, are "too intense for most people" or you rag on your teammates for not being good enough, we don't want you on the roster. 

We might still love the hell out of you, but we've gotta keep the grump sauce in the back of the fridge with the expired tzatziki.
